Pricing & Repair Policies

Mobile service minimums

The applicable minimum includes travel and the first 30 minutes of onsite labor. Additional labor is $100 per hour, billed in 15-minute increments at $25 each.

Multiple pieces of equipment

There is generally one applicable mobile/travel minimum for equipment serviced at the same property during the same visit. Labor continues across equipment as applicable. Fixed-price maintenance packages are priced individually for each piece of equipment.

Maintenance packages

Package prices cover labor only. Parts, fluids, and applicable materials are separate. Zone 2 adds $35 to the Zone 1 price; Zone 3 adds $70.

Estimates and repair authorization

Repairs outside predictable maintenance packages are generally time-based. We provide an estimated range where appropriate, and you may set a repair authorization or do-not-exceed amount. We obtain additional approval before materially exceeding your authorized amount.

Diagnosis or disassembly may uncover additional conditions. Estimates are not guarantees of final repair cost.

Parts and special orders

Parts and materials for approved repairs are billed separately. Inbound supplier shipping may also be billed separately where applicable.

Special-order parts generally require prepayment before ordering, including the parts selling price, inbound shipping, and tax. If you cancel after ordering, any refund is limited to what we can recover from the supplier after restocking charges, return shipping, or nonreturnable costs. Nonreturnable items are nonrefundable.

Customer-supplied parts

We may accept customer-supplied parts at our discretion. We do not provide a parts warranty on these components; installation workmanship remains covered under our service-concern process. Additional travel caused by an incorrect, defective, incomplete, or incompatible customer-supplied part may be billed normally.

Planned return visits

These travel-only charges apply when we return to continue the same already-authorized repair, such as after an ordered part arrives. Return-visit labor remains $100 per hour in 15-minute increments.

Service concern callbacks

If you report a concern after recent Soaring Wrench work, we may schedule a reduced-price callback to assess whether it relates to that service. The callback includes travel and up to the first 30 minutes of assessment.

If the concern is unrelated to prior workmanship and you decline further work, only the callback charge applies. If you authorize further diagnosis or repair, labor is $100 per hour after the included assessment, plus applicable parts and materials.

If we determine our workmanship caused the specific issue, we correct that workmanship issue without additional labor charges. If our error directly caused a corrective replacement part or material to be required, we cover its reasonable cost.

This is not a blanket warranty. Soaring Wrench determines whether the reported concern relates to previous workmanship.

Parts warranties and unrelated conditions

Parts may carry manufacturer or supplier warranties where available. We do not provide a separate blanket parts warranty beyond that coverage.

We are not responsible for unrelated failures, normal wear, pre-existing damage, contaminated fuel, misuse, unauthorized modifications, or other conditions not caused by our work.

Fuel disposal and materials

Contaminated fuel disposal is charged by quantity:

There is no generic shop-supplies fee. Significant materials may be billed as parts or materials when appropriate.

Cancellations and missed visits

Cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment with no cancellation fee. Cancellations within 24 hours, but before we depart, carry a $35 late-cancellation fee.

If the customer is unavailable, equipment is inaccessible, there is a no-show, or cancellation occurs after departure, the wasted-trip charge is:

No customer cancellation fee applies when Soaring Wrench cancels or service cannot safely proceed because of weather or another Soaring Wrench-controlled issue.

Emergency or after-hours service

Approved emergency or after-hours work carries a $100 surcharge added to the applicable zone minimum. Normal labor remains $100 per hour. We disclose the surcharge and obtain approval before service.

Safe access and equipment testing

Please provide reasonable, safe access to the equipment and work area. Keep pets and children safely away from the active work area. By authorizing service, you authorize us to reasonably move, start, operate, and test equipment as needed for diagnosis and service.

Service documentation

We may photograph equipment or service conditions for internal repair documentation. Identifiable customer or property photographs will not be used for advertising without separate permission.

Payment and sales tax

Payment is generally due upon completion unless another arrangement is specifically approved. Special-order parts may require prepayment. Applicable Florida sales tax is charged as required.

Unpaid balances may result in reminders, an account hold, refusal of future service, and appropriate collection or legal remedies. No automatic percentage late fee is added.

What we service

Our launch scope includes push and self-propelled mowers, riding and zero-turn mowers, string trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, pressure washers, portable generator engine-side service, and other approved carbureted small engines.

Select ATV/UTV and diesel work may be considered by request only. We do not offer automotive repair, EFI diagnosis or repair at launch, or generator electrical/output repair.
